In my head, this post turned out A LOT better, but you all get the general idea. Basically, I’m one for pieces that can work for all occasions, for day or night. Outfit 1 is without a doubt one of my most ‘man-repelling’ outfits. This is the vintage blouse I shamelessly bragged about in an earlier post after picking it up in Oxfam Vintage in Sligo. Absolutely gorgeous, these photos don’t do it justice! Going all out, I teamed this Topshop leather skirt with said blouse and eighties-tastic hoop earrings. As to Outfit 2, possibly my preferred outfit of the two, mainly because I love such a dressy item teamed with the ultimate in casual cool, high-top Cons. With minimal jewellery (a watch is about the height of it), this outfit is stylish without trying too hard. Probably not as ‘man-repelling’, merely just gape-inducing, i.e. inciting claims of ‘the hack’ at daring to wear a leather pencil skirt during the day.
