As we all know, Mary Katrantzou for Topshop launched and sold out last week. That was never going to be an option for me, let’s face it. As we also know, Topshop is celebrating 10 Years of Fashion with NEWGEN, and as such has once again collaborated with various highly esteemed designers for the celebrations. Designers such as Gareth Pugh, Erdem and Christopher Kane have created a line of bespoke tees especially for the occasion.
While I have been perennially dirt poor of late, I happened to receive a sudden cash injection last week on the day the line of tees launched in Grafton Street’s Topshop. Fate or what? I was only too eager in snapping up Mary Katrantzou’s tee, featuring her trademark floral prints in bright colours with rolled-hem sleeves. My favourite type and all.
While I am back to being dirt poor this week, my own little slice of the Mary Katrantzou for Topshop action will surely ease the burden of being dirt poor once again.
