Timeless Glamour from a Pretty Woman

So difficult to find stills from the film, hence the shabby quality. Filmed over 20 years ago now, there wouldn’t be much of an archive would there? What remains from Pretty Woman though is the timeless glamour showcased throughout the film by Vivian Ward (Julia Roberts), post-makeover, courtesy of Barney Thompson, aka, Hector Elizondo.

While it wouldn’t be difficult to spruce up Julia Roberts, her wardrobe from this nineties classic is still as wearable in the noughties. From the classic white men’s shirt, to the sophisticated polka dot dress, her style is effortless. Let’s not forget the moment when Vivian dons that red evening gown with Lauren Wood’s “Fallen” playing in the background. A classic.
