Eagerly Awaiting Katrantzou for Topshop

The title says it all, yet the images of Karlie Kloss in Katrantzou prints would be mistaken for runway couture.

Part of Mary Katrantzou’s upcoming collaboration with Topshop,  it hits stores this February. It’s incredible that there hasn’t been that much publicity surrounding their latest designer collection, in comparison to the circus that was Versace for H&M.

We all know how Versace for H&M turned out (gaudy goods bought in bulk to be sold on eBay, returned and now lying unused in store stockrooms). Perhaps the sedate run-up to the launch is key to the collection’s success?

Apologies for the poor image quality – behind-the-scenes shots from a catalogue of Topshop’s designer collections, photographed by Nick Knight. For more on the catalogue, click here.

Needless to say, I’m eagerly awaiting my acquisition of a Mary Katrantzou piece!
