Louis Vuitton SS12

With resident front row-ers such as Alexa Chung, Nicole Richie and Poppy Delevingne in attendance, Louis Vuitton SS12 collection was obviously highly-anticipated. While I’m not loving the overly-feminine white broderie anglaise dresses that were shown early on, the rest of Marc Jacob’s creations were spectacular to say the least. Making their grand entrance on a white carousel, LV’s Spring collection, embodies the season with its offerings of pastel hues and ethereal designs. I can definitely see many elements of this collection being incorporated into the high street in the coming seasons, especially the neon/pastel broderie anglaise, Peter Pan collars (still a huge trend) and the coloured Ostrich feathers (my absolute favourite!).

With Kate Moss strutting her ever-fabulous stuff for the finale, the show will certainly be remembered, maybe as Marc’s ‘swan song’ with LV before heading off to haute couture Christian Dior as creative director, possibly. If the rumours are to be believed that is…
